Magpies Pre-School is a happy and exciting place to be and provides lots of opportunity for fun for your child(ren) while they are learning.

The Pre-School is based at North Kidlington School, and we welcome all children, whichever school they chose to move onto.  We accept children from 2 years of age, up until they are ready to start school.

The main objective of Magpies Pre-School is to provide a happy, secure, safe and stimulating environment for children, while encouraging them to develop socially, emotionally, physically and intellectually.

The Pre-School is open Monday to Friday, during North Kidlington School term dates only.

Session Times and Fees

2 Year Olds

8.50am – 11.50am morning session = £10.00

12.10pm – 3.10pm afternoon session = £10.00

Full Day = £21.00

3 Years Plus

8.50am – 11.50am morning session = £8.50

12.10pm – 3.10pm afternoon session = £8.50

Full Day = £18.00

Please note there are parking restrictions close to the school, thus it is not possible to park either on the school drive or the school site itself (unless the driver or the child attending Pre-School is Disabled).  If you do need to drive, there is road-side parking available nearby.

Box Tops for Books

We are collecting vouchers found on the tops of cerial packets made by Nestle. Please take the time to tear them off and bring them into us, just a few will get us a new book to help build our library!

Magpies...we are here to listen

We value personal contact with all parents and carers and will report to you in person at the end of the session if there have been any significant events. If you have any issues or concerns regarding your child or Magpies Pre-School itself, we are here to listen. Please feel free to speak to the Manager, Supervisor, Key person and if applicable, our Special Educational Needs  co-ordinator (‘SENCO’).

Your questions answered?

• We take children from the age of two years old
  

• We will change nappies, with your permission.
  

• Your child can join Magpes PreSchool at any time, as soon as they are two, including in the middle of term (subject to space availability)
  

• Your child can come for as few or as many sessions per week as you wish (subject to space availabiity)
  

• We accept all childcare vouchers and Early Years funding
  

• We are OfSTED registered
  

• We accept children who are going onto any nursery or primary school, or who have not decided yet
  

• You are able to come and visit us before making any decision, all we ask is that you phone first to arrange a suitable time.
